Celanese Chemicals Announces Price Increases on CelvolR Polyvinyl Alcohols

DALLAS -- Celanese Chemicals announced that it will increase the price for all Celvol?polyvinyl alcohol grades by 10 percent per dry pound, globally. Reasons cited for the increase are the persistent rise in raw materials, energy and logistics costs. These changes will take effect on December 1, 2005, subject to existing contract conditions.
