BASF Increases Prices for ElastollanR TPU by 6 percent

WYANDOTTE, Mich. -- BASF will increase prices for all Elastollan thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU) resin, concentrate and additives by six percent, or as contracts allow, effective December 1, 2005.
"We must contend with the continued volatility of raw material and energy costs, and the increasing challenges of transportation availability and costs," said James Lausch, Director of BASF's Elastollan TPU business in North America. "Despite these challenges, we remain fully focused on providing our customers with the quality TPU products and services they require."
